New Sculpture...in progress
The last of my Fine Casting Plaster! I've attempted something more complicated here, the carving stage is done and its ready to be sanded. It is quite fragile so i may have to consider some kind of plinth for it. I also think its too complicated for a spray job so it will be hand painted, if i don't crack or drop it by then!

Steel Sculpture at St.Anthony's Garden. York
This was a Co-designed Sculpture for the public gardens in York.
It was supposed to be larger, by about a third of its size, and in its natural colour of silvery-gray which would contrast easier with the grasses and other plants in the bed.
I'm still very happy to have been part of it though as any public art is always a good thing.

Panoramicubus. 2011
Plaster. Primer, Yellow spray paint.
This one took a while as it was quite tricky to carve but i'm happy with the result, it's the most technical piece I've done (in a carving sense) and i'll try something more trickier next time.

'Lotion'
Lotion. 2010
Plaster, Spraypaint
Plaster, Spraypaint
This piece started out as a test block a few years ago, using the free-form technique it became Lotion.
I don't think i could have designed this which is why i like to make sculpture this way occasionally.

'African Elephant'
Pencil
A grazing African elephant! It took many hours but i'm really happy with it.
Apologies for the photo quality
